The construction uses reclaimed wood from century-old warehouses slated for demolition, saving trees and preserving forests. By rescuing old-growth timber from the waste stream, it reduces landfill use and carbon release, while the grain and natural aged sheen give a distinctive, ageless look that cannot be replicated with new wood. Dimensions include a headboard height of 57 inches, floor-to-top-of-side-rail of 18.5 inches, mattress sitting 0.5 inches below the top rail, and slats 2 inches wide, spaced 1.75 inches apart.
